The hotel is at an amazing location, surrounded by mountains, really beautiful during autumn! The rooms are small I guess, but is good for the money that we pay, I guess. Has a nice restaurant and an amazing sauna! Plus the staff are friendly! Do ask them for the wine tasting tour! I recommend this place!

The room was perfect for a 2 night stay, with one day hiking. The staff is really nice, the rooms are tidy (bathroom could have been better, but I am a clean freak for it, so I did not count it). Very positive is the restaurant. The beer is really good! The only thing in total that could be better is to have a fridge in the room, but since there is a BILLA in a 20 minute walking distance and the food in the hotel restaurant is also good, I had no problem with not having one. Overall, perfect for a short solo stay, and I guess I will come back later with family / friends as well, because the hiking routes here and nearby are really nice!
We found this hotel friendly and relaxing. Hotel is not modern but is comfortable. Good breakfast. Pleasant evening meals and a nice outdoor setting in good weather. Close to good walking and just an hour by car from Vienna - train travel also possible.

I've known this hotel for years. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. On this occasion there were no double rooms without carpet available (I have 2 dogs with me). After half an hour in the single room it was clear it wasn't going to work and I was really stressed as we were staying for a week. Konstantin was brilliant and put us into a double room even though it was carpeted but we always travel with several king size sheets and I was able to cover the carpet. The best service is what happens when there's a problem and this was exactly the response that made this week perfect.
